Lalbagh is the famous botanical garden one should not miss while visiting Bangalore. The garden has four gates, with entry possible only through one gate and exit through the other gate. The entry fee for adults is Rs. 30 on other days and Rs. 40 on holidays. Flower Show starts in August and has many attractions like Dinosaurs made of 50,000 flowers, mermaids of roses and 120 new species. Total 720 species are displayed out of which 80 are likely to foreign species.

With a name as ‘Garden City’, Bangalore is filled with parks. The major parks are Cubbon Park, Coles Park, M.N. Krishna Rao Park, Bugle Rock Park, Jayamahal Park, and Cariappa Memorial Park.
